I use Chrome for two reasons:
- because it is so fast
- the interface is almost identical across platforms. I switch between Linux/Mac/Windows machines multiple times a day.
Ars Technica has a good web browser speed comparison giving some data to backup reason 1. The tests are done on current release desktop browsers and beta versions of the same browsers. In almost all the tests (release and beta) the Google Chrome browser stomps the competition.
